Characters are defined as the protagonists of VVVVVV.

CrewMembers — All the characters frowning

They are all Villi, and work as the crew on the SS Souleye. During the events of the game; captain Viridian must traverse Dimension VVVVVV to find all 5 of the lost crew members.

All of VVVVVV's characters happen to be Villi.
